Here Are Answers To Our Most Commonly Asked Questions:

1. Will our food be fully plated or will it be set up buffet style?

We can do fully plated meals, buffet style or passed appetizers.

2. Can alcohol be consumed at my event?
Yes, we will gladly cater beer and wine. If you would like a full bar we will have Plonk or the Zebra cater your event. We do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol.

3. What services do you provide at events?
Chef and sommelier services are available. We also offer hosted bar or espresso bar.

4. How much is the rental fee?
The rental fee is included in the catering cost once minimums have been met.

5. What are the catering minimums?
Catering minimums are based on the location reserved and the time of your event. More details and photos below.

6. Will the restaurant be closed for my event?
The entire restaurant is available to rent from 5pm – 12am with a $1200 minimum catering tab.

7. What is the maximum capacity of Sola Cafe?

8. Is the gratuity included in my bill?
Gratuity of 18% is included for all parties larger than 6.

9. Is there a deposit for events?
A 50% deposit is required to hold a catering reservation with full payment due within 7 days prior to the event.

10. What is your cancellation policy?
A $200 cancellation fee applies if the event is canceled less than 7 days prior.
A $100 cancellation fee applies if the event is canceled less than 14 days prior.
We do not give deposit refunds in the months of December, July, and August.

11. Can I pay with more than one transaction?
We ask that payment be made in one transaction.

12. When is the last day I can submit a finalized count for attendees?
We ask that the final count is received within 7 days prior and within 10% of the guests expected.
Absolute final counts are due 3 days prior.

13. Are decorations permitted?
Yes, but we do not allow nails or tape that may damage our walls. We ask that all decor is removed by the client at end of event.

14. What is the weather contingency plan for outdoor spaces?
We always reserve the interior with the option to go outside on nice days.
