Sola in the Community

It is our philosophy at Sola that we must participate “on the ground” in our community, both in Bozeman and the surrounding Gallatin Valley.

We receive many, many requests for fundraising efforts and we try to say “yes” to as many as we can. We generally channel cash requests to one of our existing fundraising programs. We select one worthy cause per month to which to donate food and treat platters. Want to be considered? Learn how here.

Our programs:

10¢ to Charity

Every time you use any personal mug at Sola, we will give 10¢ to the month’s charitable organization. See our home page for this month’s recipient.

When you use a Swap mug at Sola, we double the donation to 20¢ per use. What’s a Swap Mug? They are mugs you never have to wash. You bring it in dirty, we give you a clean one and wash it for the next person to use. Help the planet and our community. Use a Sola Swap Mug!

To date, we have donated more than $11,000 to charity through this program. Want your organization to be considered for the program? Learn how here.

Other charitable donations:

Fundraising: Selling Sola Gift Certificates
Organize your club, school, or group to do a fundraiser selling Sola gift certificates. Each member takes a form around to friends and neighbors, collects the payment, Sola provides the gift certificates, your group distributes them. Your group keeps 20% of the total proceeds. We have all the forms and make it easy for you.

Gallery Donations
We donate a percentage of all artwork sold from our galleries to an organization selected by the artists and Sola.

Gallatin Valley Food Bank
We send all leftover items to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.

Sponsorship:

“As people alive today, we must consider future generations: a clean environment is a human right like any other. It is therefore part of our responsibility toward others to ensure that the world we pass on is as healthy, if not healthier, than we found it.”
