MSU’s Engineers without Borders “Glimpse of Kenya” photo display at Sola in December and JanuaryEngineers Without Borders displays a collection of photos from their work in Kenya at Sola Café in December and January. The display features photos from members of EWB taken in the previous summer in Khwisero, Kenya intending to raise awareness for the EWB cause and to help provide funding for EWB’s mission in Kenya. EWB at Montana State University is an interdisciplinary, student-run development organization working to bring potable water to families and school children in Khwisero, Kenya. The organization is composed of Montana State University students and is entirely led and run by them. The EWB mission is to provide 58 primary schools and communities in Khwisero with potable water and sanitation. In the past four years, EWB has installed six deep water wells, five composting latrines, and one biogas latrine, all of which were fundraised for and designed by MSU students in collaboration with local craftsmen. The showfeatures photos that prominently display EWB work in Kenya as well as the culture and hardships the Kenyan people face daily.
